Dr Martin A. Blake, named one of the Top 100 Global Sustainability Leaders of 2011, 2012 and 2013, is a international sustainability visionary and business strategist best known for the co-creating alternative futures for organisations seeking transformation by transcending the ‘business as usual’ paradigm and becoming more efficient, commercially viable and resilient. As a natural ‘systems thinker’ Martin is a great advocate of the Blue Economy and strives to identify commercial opportunities that extend well beyond ‘Green’.
Martin gained international recognition in the 90’s for creating and publishing the first enterprise level Marginal Abatement Cost Curves in the world having successfully used them to deploy one of the most successful energy conservation programmes in the Europe, saving the organization in question many millions of dollars annually and as a result winning multiple National and International awards.
Within Australia, Dr Blake is a Strategic Advisor to the Carbon Reduction Institute, the Founder of Blue Australasia and the Co-chairman of Blue Mutual. Beyond Australia he chairs and advises a number of organisations focused on the development and deployment of efficient infrastructure.
